Dear Advanced Family Dentistry Dental Family,
Due to the circumstances occurring in our community and world, we want to keep you informed with the steps Advanced Family Dentistry is initiating to protect patients as well as our staff. We are carefully monitoring the situation and following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), American Dental Association (ADA), and South Carolina Dental Association (SCDA). Per the recommendation of the ADA we will be closing the office from March 23rd till March 31st resuming operations on April 1st. The fluidity of the situation may result in changes to our schedule and we will keep you informed.
As always outside of normal business hours in the event of an emergency please call the office at 864-850-9045 and leave a message for the appropriate doctor. The doctor will call you back as soon as possible.
Once we resume seeing patients on April 1st the initiatives listed below will remain in effect. Due to the nature of our normal operations we are consistently disinfecting our facility and equipment following all state and federal infection control guidelines. We have also implemented enhanced disinfection procedures. In addition, the late cancellation fee per our Financial Policy has been suspended at this time.
We are asking for you the patient to assists us in keeping everyone safe by respecting the following initiatives:
If you or a family member have recently traveled outside the United States, we ask that you reschedule appointments.
If you or a family member are experiencing any symptoms of illness, we ask that you reschedule appointments.
We ask that only patients come to appointments and refrain from having others accompany them unless it is absolutely necessary.
It is our recommendation that patient(s) 60 years of age and older and/or patient(s) who live with a person with a chronic illness like heart disease, lung disease, and diabetes be treated for emergency services only.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and support during this challenging time.
